Andy is a self-proclaimed “bass playing hack” who has laid down the low-end in various Phoenix area bands for years. His motto, “More gear than talent,” is a bit of a joke, but a quick glance at his music room will reveal a collection of gear that far exceeds his actual skill.
Andy has been immersed in the world of music since he was old enough to turn up the volume. His journey through the world of music began early, with a record collection featuring the likes of Alice Cooper, Sweet, and David Bowie. These early influences helped shape his lifelong obsession with Rock ‘N’ Roll.
A true “Rock ‘N’ Roll Junkie”, Andy boasts an extensive knowledge of rock history and has an undying appreciation for the raw, rebellious spirit of Sleazy, Dirty Rock.
Gary has been a drummer and backing vocalist in the Phoenix music scene for over 25 years, in bands that you no doubt have never heard of, to varying degrees of success. His decades long experience through the rock and roll trenches has given him a wealth of knowledge and stories to share.
A die-hard concertgoer since 1975, Gary has witnessed the evolution of rock firsthand, catching most, if not nearly all of Rock's heavyweight acts along the way. His uncanny ability to store useless music trivia facts makes him a walking encyclopedia of musical history and a perfect person to answer most of your questions (Up to a point, let's not get ridiculous).
Gary's favorite type of music Is anything with Hooks, Harmonies, Melody, Power Chords, Handclaps, and catchy, instantly memorable choruses, along with a soft spot in his heart for Power Pop, Trash Rock and Gutter Glam.
